I’ve been Non-Binary Trans my whole life, but I only came out three years ago.
I say the day is my second birthday – the birthday that marks me being who I am and not who everyone else expected or wanted me to be.
Today is my Third Gender Birthday. Or Genderday, if you wish.
I love being me, and it’s important for me to celebrate this simply because it’s an achievement. Not just with being me, but with the battles that I’ve had to go through.
So, what I suggest is – if you’re Trans, Non-Binary, or Gender Variant – celebrate the day you came out.
You deserve it.
