IT’S SNOWING AND THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE IS LOSING THEIR MIND OVER BECAUSE THEY CAN THROW HOT WATER INTO THE AIR AND IT INSTANTLY TURNS INTO SNOW!!!!

It’s simple science, not a miracle, and it can be done at -25C.

So, let me explain.

Hot or boiling water evaporates, which is why steam comes off of hot water. That evaporation freezes, allowing the water to freeze too.

At -25C, the hot or boiling water turns to snow. (Note: Don’t try this at home, it’s stupid and if the temperature is wrong you’ll get a nice burn…)

But in any other situation, it turns to ice.

Cold water takes longer to freeze, simply because it doesn’t have any vapours. This means the water frosts over, giving the water a iced look but it could just be a very thin surface.

While hot water, turns to ice fairly quickly due to the vapours and the lack of frost being able to form.

The frost on the cold water prevents the rest of the water from freezing, while hot water freezes quicker due to the lack of it – the vapours of evaporation makes it freeze faster.

So, why is everyone so fascinated by this? I have no clue, it’s simple science but I’ve been seeing people refer to it as a miracle.

It’s not… If anything it’s global warming. Reaching -25C in countries where it rarely goes below -18C, it’s an effect of us destroying the planet.
